Mini Christmas tree

My mini Christmas tree made with the instructions from Jim, thegentlemancrafter. It now stands proudly on my desk at work. I used leftover xmas paper and one bead on top.

My Santa's Sleigh ride that i saw in a budget shop and decided to try to create it myself. It is a bit crooked, but who cares...it was fun to do.

X-mas cards for work

A small token for xmas for my colleagues in Europe, see above photo.
And not to forget my US colleagues, a 3d card...sort off in which I used my leftover scraps from Xmas, but used the Memory Box dies for the deer family, which was btw very cute, see below.

Nicole Eccles' High Heel design

I created this high heel with the free design Nicole Eccles has on her blog. It suited the person I gifted it perfectly. I used the paper line A Ladies' Diary from Graphic45. I did use an extra chipboard on the bottom to to secure and hide the paper details that you get from folding the paper for the front part of the shoe. I used Tacky glue for everything and it turned actually quiet hard. I didn't have to be afraid to break it :)

You can find Nicole's designs here

my newest project for Xmas

Well, I must say my inspiration never have given me a bulk of creations before. Right now I am working on several Xmas gifts for my colleagues....40 in total. And I haven't counted my family's gifts yet.

Also when Xmas is done, another 30 birthcards for my unborn nephew will take up my time...

Plenty of things to do.

Won - Halloween contest

Hi everyone,

Sorry to be gone for a few weeks, but work is killing my RL at the moment. I still want  to post the photos of my Halloween house for which I won first price. Anita made the tags in which she had fun doing so.

Pregnancy album

 Hi,
I made this Dutch pregnancy album for a colleague as it is her first pregnancy. I used my leftover scraps and the iron tabs holders 1 till 9 for the months. Several tags with washi tape and fibers. My focus was on green, because when I created it I didn't know what the gender of her baby would be.
For the butterfly I used a memory box die that gives you half a butterfly and the body, but if you cut the sides twice, you just could create one big butterfly.

A challenge from you to me...please join

Hi everyone,

I have a challenge for you. I normally gave this to my fanfiction readers and after receiving their answers, I create the fanfiction story, but as I am not doing that anymore, I want to see if I can change it in such a way and use it for scrapbooking.

Answer the below questions and send me the answers with your address to eveline.holzken@gmail.com with the subject 'Spike's Scrapbook challenge'. Based on your answers, I would like to create a tag, box, album, whatever I can come up with and send it to you.

1. What's your favourite color?
2. Which Chinese animal are you?
3. Name 3 keywords about yourself.

Depending on how many challenges I get, I will set a time limit which can result up to a year, if the responses are a lot.

Feel free to share this challenge, create a vid to give me more challengers, you don't need to follow my blog, but I will update on here whenever I have created something. Those that do make vids and shares my challenge will probably receive something extra, depending on how much inspiration I have.

Keep in mind, I am only a beginner in scrapbooking (started in 2010) so don't pressure me into giving you an item like the Graphic45 designers, Kathy Files (Paper Phenomenon) or Laura (Follow the paper trail). I will use their scrapbooking methods (not their tutorials) and some of my own and I do my best in creating something that passes my partner's approval :).

I will post on my blog who has entered the challenge by name only. Everything else will stay private. All creations, I take photos from it, but will not post until the person has received the creation.

Please join my challenge!

Manly photo album :)

This album was fun to make, find paper that suited the situation and stickers that fitted with the circumstances. A manly album for a vice president who has done so much for the American company as well the European one.

2nd GIVEWAY: English Red Phone Booth

Another giveaway, more room for me :)! This phone booth is made out of chipboard, cardstock and transparant paper, of which i have forgotten the name. It is my first creation, so as usual there will be some oopsies, but that is starting to be something that will always happen with my projects :) Call it a signature.
If you want to make a chance to win this project, please follow my blog and comment. I will do the names on paper again and have my daughter pick one. You can comment and follow until 19th September and on that evening (Dutch time) my daughter will select the winner.

Tegan's Princess Car

Hi everyone,

There one was a 4,5 year old little red haired girl who saw her mother's car and exclaimed loudly that this was her princess car! Only that remark sparked so much inspiration in me that I came up with the below album :) I found all my pink papers, wasi tape, embelishments etc. and created a template and started cutting, taping, binding and much more just to make this beautiful little girl her princess car.

GIVE AWAY: DR WHO PHONE BOX WITH ALBUM

Hi everyone,

I am giving away my Dr. Who phone box including the travel journey album.

Whoopies that I do need to mention in case it matters to you:
* Two pages of the album are a bit crooked when you open and close the album;
* The roof need a bit of more force to fit back into place. The album is just 0.50" longer then it should be.

The paper for the album is Bo Bunny Weekend Market.

I hope these whoopsies don't bother you and you still want to join ^_^.

The only thing you have to do is comment on this post (no anonymous comments please) and follow my blog. For those that have youtube, vids are appreciated, but not necessary if you don't want to. The shipping cost are for me, so basically you get it free.

Due to the holidays, you can join this give away until the 20th of August. On the 21st of August I will use random.org to select a number that fits the number of the comment. DON'T comment twice please. I will post on my blog who won and that person will have to send me their name and address to where I can send the package.

Contessa album: Baby version

Paper phenomenon's Contessa Album, but then with the baby and playing theme.

Dr.Who Police Box

Do I need to say more? The Travel journey album fits into the Dr. Who box. Made out of chipboard and paint and a pieces of cardstock, nothing else. Tutorials are on the way, need a bit more time to get it together. I am hoping for Sunday evening, but can't promise anything.
